Trivia: Like 806-THE UNDEAD released the following year, AIP's 1956 release, THE SHE-CREATURE, tried to cash in on the craze about regression to past lives via hypnosis, as popularized by a very popular book called The Search for Bridey Murphy, already made into a major motion picture by Paramount.

PAUL BLAISDELL, maker of many AIP movie monsters, called The She-Creature monster "Cuddles." He would wear the costume (without the breasts) again in Voodoo Woman.

Alternative Casting: Both Peter Lorre (The Maltese Falcon) and John Carradine (619-RED ZONE CUBA) were sought to play Dr. Lombardi, and Mike Connors (503-SWAMP DIAMONDS) was considered for the role of Dr. Erickson.
