So you're interested in joinin' the Tape Tradin' Post? That's just dandy. But before you go sendin' us your
list, here's a few rules you must follow:
- The Tradin' Post is for episode TRADING only. We cannot
accept lists from people who are selling episodes, nor will we
link to outside web sites where such activity takes place. By
the way, even though this here is called a TAPE tradin' post, if
you've got some of your episodes burned onto that high-falutin'
DVD format, go right on ahead and trade them here.
- You must agree to keep us updated on your list every two months. If we don't receive an update from you
within two months of your listing's "last updated" date--even if it's just a message sayin' "I have
no updates this month"--your list will be removed.
- You must agree to abide by all the rules of the Tradin' Post, which are:
- Do not engage in the trading of the commercial
release of MST3K: THE MOVIE (see note below) or any episode or video distributed by either Rhino Home
Video or the MST3K Info Club. This includes versions of the episodes recorded off of television. If you do so,
your listin' in the Tradin' Post will be pulled immediately. Here's a list of the episodes currently in release:

- If you find yourself gettin' behind in tradin' requests, or just need to take a break from tradin' for awhile,
let us know as quick as you can and we'll post a note in your listin' statin' that you are not currently takin'
tradin' requests. We don't want to receive complaints from people sayin' that you ain't keepin' up your end of
the bargain!
- Speakin' of complaints, remember that we do not get involved with the tradin' process itself. If you have
problems with a trader, please let us know ASAP so that we can find out what's goin' on, but keep in mind that
you'll have to resolve the problem on your own. We are not responsible for any of the traders listed on the Tradin'
Post.
- And speakin' of the Rhino and Info Club episodes, we ask that you consider not including them on your lists.
But if you do decide to include them, you must clearly mark them as Rhino or Info Club episodes and state somewhere
in your listing that you're not tradin' them. And whenever new titles become available from Rhino or the Info Club
you must send us an updated list with those titles either removed or marked.
*** NOTE: If you've got a
copy of the BROADCAST versions of any of the following, you can
include them for tradin'. However, you must clearly state that they
are NOT either the Image Entertainment or Universal Home Video
versions (for MST3K: THE MOVIE) or Rhino or Info Club versions (for
other episodes).
If we find out you're tradin' commercial versions, your
list will be permanently removed from the Post. Sorry, but that's
the way it's got to be.
