Maria Perschy
VIENNA--Austrian-born actress Maria Perschy, whose vivacious good looks brought her stardom on both sides of
the Atlantic, died here Dec. 3 of cancer. She was 66. MSTies will remember her as Ingrid in episode 323- THE CASTLE
OF FU-MANCHU.
Among her films seen by American audiences were "Murders in the Rue Morgue" with Herbert Lom, "633
Squadron" with Cliff Robertson and "Man's Favorite Sport?" with Rock Hudson.
She continued to work in the U.S. 1970s and '80s, landing a guest spot on TV's "Hawaii Five-O," and a
role on daytime drama "General Hospital." In 1986 she left the U.S. and returned to Austria, where she
continued to perform.
She was married twice, and is survived by a daughter.
