— Jeannot Szwarc, the French-American director known for his work in both film and television, died January 16. He was 85. Szwarc’s career spanned several decades and included “Jaws 2” (1978), “Somewhere in Time” (1980), “Supergirl” (1984) and “Santa Claus: The Movie” (1985).

MSTies know he served as cinematographer for the movie in episode 608- CODE NAME: DIAMOND HEAD.

NEW YORK CITY — Peter Yarrow, the singer-songwriter and activist whose work in folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary made him one of the most beloved musical acts of the 1960s, died at his home here January 7. He was 86.

The group was mentioned in host segments in episode 310- FUGITIVE ALIEN and 204- CATALINA CAPER.
