Our pal “Lazlow the MST3K Guy” was planning to interview Joel while Cinematic Titanic was in Arizona recently, but Joel had to cancel at the last minute and Josh and Trace filled in. Lazlow also found himself unexpectedly filming outside without a windsock on the mic, so bear with him.

That was a fun, informative interview. The sound was not as bad as I thought it might be going into it.
Lazlow is my own personal Joel; I wanted to meet him, but he was at the 4pm show, not the 8:30! lol There’s always next time…

Well, if nothing else, I’d give ‘Lazlow’ an “A” for effort, and his obvious enthusiasm for the subject.
A shame about Joel, but kudos to Josh and Trace for so willingly stepping into the breach…… :-|

Another issue with the sound was the mic that Josh and Trace used wasn’t as hot as the lapel mic that I used. So when I balanced the audio it brought their levels up which only enhanced the fuzziness of the track. Overall I don’t think it is too bad…
Nice interview. Lazlow, you are a true fan and I for one appreciate your efforts. Let’s face it getting a chance to interview Trace and Josh is amazing too. Josh is so genuine and Trace always makes me laugh with his subtle off the cuff comments. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to spend some time with Joel eventually. Keep up the good work.
