I have been looking forward to this one since the Twitter war between The Spoony One and the Rifftrax crew began.

Wow, this should be good. This movie is such a huge clod of turf. I know far too many people with a Highlander replica sword (I know three people who own them – I thought there could be only one?) Queen + Swordplay + Sean Connery does NOT = movie magic.

Bought, but I also really like the movie Highlander.

My Dad was a fan, and I’m not about to knock fans with swords. I have replica bots, so who am I to judge? ;)
Highlander 2 is so much more deserving of a good riff though.

I will eventually pick this up, but I think this is a case of them doing a movie — like ‘Jaws’ or some of the Star Trek movies — where I will enjoy it less since I really love the movie.

Everyones different which is a good thing. 300 is a top 10 movie for me, but I laughed at rifftrax soooo hard I can’t watch it after eating.
Highlander is also a top 10 movie for me, so here’s hoping for the same reaction.

I watched HIGHLANDER recently. It was good. I never saw the second film, which I hear is very bad. I’m surprised Rifftrax never went after that one. Maybe in the future?

My guess is the many different versions of Highlander 2 that are available might hurt its chances.

There is no second film. And I say that as someone that went out and bought a Katana because of this movie. (Well, had my parents get me one for Xmas)

There is a final, readily available version of Highlander 2 on DVD and Blu-Ray. It has better visual effects and is edited in such a way that eliminates the idea of the Immortals as space aliens.
