    Didn’t think this was going to be on DVD and when I saw that it was,I immediately ordered it! Is it strange to get excited about a movie that looks just as bad as Manos?.Oh,the pain,the pain…Ordered mine last night,too!

    It also includes the “Santa Claus Punch and Judy” short. I always prefer getting real DVDs to VOD, so this is a nice surprise. Does anyone know if this also includes the unriffed version of the film? It doesn’t say on their site.

    Yes, this does contain the unriffed version. Why in the bloody hell anyone would want it it beyond me…but it is there. :P

    I don’t know why anyone would want that unriffed version either. I still don’t get how it goes from Santa stuck in the sand that he can easily get out of if he just pushed the damn sleigh for a few feet to Thumbellina. My brain is hurting from the strain.

    I don’t know. On the one hand it’s a seriously f-ed up movie that’s good for riffing. On the other hand the sample clip hardly endears one to this RiffTrax DVD. I really don’t like the crew’s tendency to scream at things in the movie, or make sustained loud noises of any kind.

    I don’t know why anyone would want the unriffed version either because it’s more mind-numbing than Manos and Monster A Go-Go put together..@Laura..Don’t think so much on a kid’s movie,ok? It’s not worth it. ;-)

    I caught the end of this stinker on a public access station. I don’t think any riffing would save that. :-?

    Darn it! I’ve already downloaded and burned it too! Gotta admit, though…it sure was fun watching the expressions of shock and horror on my friends’ faces the first time I showed it to them. Easily the most insulting, condescending kid’s movie ever produced. And yet…it’s a film that HAD to be made!

    Wow! Gotta have it! Not sure if I should thank Rifftrax for releasing this on DVD so quickly or hide under my couch from the horribleness that is this movie. I’ll go with thank them. Also, I’m not going near the unriffed version!

    I’m sorry, but the clip of Kevin screaming made me laugh so hard and so loud that my wife came running into the room,”Is everything okay?!?” Sometimes screaming is the only viable option!

    I’ve been waiting for another RiffTrax DVD, so I ordered this one. The movie looks sufficiently goofy enough to make for good riffing.

    To riff it themselves, of course.

    This is probably one of the best they’ve ever done. I like RT’s mainstream movies, but the bad ones are a step beyond as it’s great to hear them comment on the absurd costumes (Thumbalina insert) and horrible lines (the entire film). I already bought the VOD but am getting this to add to my RT collection.

    Side note – I bought a bunch of RT videos at Christmas when it was listed on here about DeepDiscounts.com selling them cheap. Never again. Just a warning that you will never, ever stop getting 2-3 emails a day from those idiots, even if you request to be removed from their list. I’ve been trying for 2 months now and am still getting daily stuff despite emailing them directly. Never again.

    @ Dr. Carlo Lombardi

    The e-mails from DeepDiscount.com aren’t that bad. And what good does never ordering from them do? You’re already getting the e-mails. If the e-mails had stopped and you placed a new order, you would then get more e-mails. So I could see not ordering from them in that situation.

    I get daily e-mails from DeepDiscount.com, but I also get them from Amazon.com. Just yesterday I got one telling me how much I saved on MST3K vol. XX, thanks to their “pre-order price guarantee.” Does that mean I should stop using Amazon.com?

    @Dr. Carlo Lombardi:

    There is a way to stop getting those annoying emails: Sign in to your account and go into “Account Info” where there’s an “Edit” button you can click to deselect getting those emails. Emailing DeepDiscount directly never amounts to anything. I know; I’ve tried. They are not helpful.

    Yes… but I asked them to stop. And they won’t. They keep coming, and coming, and coming. So I’m supposed to keep getting them even though I have requested 1,327 times for them to stop? At the bottom of their ads it says “if you wish to stop getting these then click here.” Then it takes you to their page to remove yourself from their mailing list. Yet even though I ask them to stop they refuse to remove me from their list. Just because I bought something from them once does not give them the right to keep sending me ads for the rest of my life. Amazon used to send me a lot too, but you can request or limit the number you get. DeepDiscount does not nor do they even answer their email regarding requests to be removed from their list.

    So yes, if Amazon was to repeatedly ignore your requests to limit or stop emailing you ads then you should stop using them. It’s called giving sales based on customer service. Fortunately Amazon cares about their customers and understands that ill will does not equal sales. DeepDiscounts.com does not and I will never ever use them again. I don’t care how much I might save, if they refuse to listen to requests to stop blanket emailing me then they will never get my business and I will take any chance I can get to let others know what I think of their business practices.

    Sorry if this sounds trite, but I’m sick of finding my mailbox clogged with their ads and not being able to get them to stop.

    I downloaded and watched this one on DVD image months ago. It’s wonderful but it’s auto-run (sans menu) and I believe I’ll buy this one also so I’ll have both versions! The short sounds like fun, too. At the time I rapidly hammered together a make-do DVD case label and it has had a remarkable number of downloads despite being made by a guy who has no artistic ability whatsoever. It’s still there if anyone is interested. The link is at the rifftrax forum, and can also be found with a Google Images search. It’s bright pink- you can’t miss it.

    @21

    I don’t really blame you for being ticked off at DD. I used them for years (back when they were DeepDiscount DVD) and never had a problem until when I placed a preorder for a MST3K set I’d get a “Item out of Stock” message when I’d check to see why it hadn’t shipped it. This happened for months and after numerous BBB complaints, phone calls, numerous emails and my boyfriend even calling them, they called me a “troublemaker” and apparently don’t care if I shop them them anymore.

    I have tried shopping with them since then and they like to cancel my order EVERY TIME. They’ve gotten numerous complaints from other customers about their lousy customer service. That’s bascially why I use Amazon. DeepDiscount can take their “free shipping” and cram it.

    On that note, does anyone know if this will be available through Amazon? Right now, it has the dreaded “out of stock” tag, with no potential date for being in-stock. In an effort to keep my SPAM count low, I try to only shop through Amazon. :)

    I get as much spam from Amazon as I do from DeepDiscount, but both are useful on occasion.
