Weird, I think I have an opposite viewpoint of every rating he posted for each of the shorts. Mr. Moto and Rectangles are easily two of my favorite shorts, and I think American Thrift part 2 is way better than part 1 since I can’t stand whats-her-name.

I agree… “Rectangle” is hilarious, and one I watch over and over again. “We need a more rudimentary short, dammit!”

Some of them were good, but I have a slight regret for purchasing these Shorts DVDs. I feel like a short is best taken is small doses, like one or two before a riffed movie. Maybe I’ll just buy individual shorts for download from now on.

I love how if you go on Amazon to buy these they list delivery time as “1-2 months”. Speedy!

MikeK- I’m just the opposite, I’d rather watch these shorts collections then a full length feature episode. Not that I don’t support your opinion, just tossing out a differing view point. :)

I have no problem with RT continuing to release these shorts compilations; most are pretty funny and, for someone like me with a limited attention span, having different themes every 12 to 15 minutes or so helps keep me focused on their commentary.

Is it just me or does it sound like Mr Lyons is reviewing the original shorts themselves, and not the riffing?

I am trying to figure out what the short is with the talking paper bag. We saw it at Rifftrax Live! last summer but I can’t find it, maybe I don’t know where to look. It was hilarious and insanely weird.
