New RiffTrax Short…

Two questions:
1. Why are these kids empty-handed? They don’t have notebooks, a lunch, anything??
2. What did Sid Davis do to the woman who wanders into the shot at about 9:02 and then nervously backs out of the shot again?

See a sample and download the full file here.

    1. They’re on the free lunch program. Duh! ;-)

    2. She was yanked off camera and beaten severely for defining the all-powerful Sid Davis.

Arrgh! Why did watch the sample clip? Now, when the eventual DVD is released, I’m going to think that I’ve seen the entire short before. I’m having that problem with some of the shorts on the new DVDs.

Anyway, wasn’t the 1950s-1970s the golden age of school lunches? I think the makers of the short overlooked the realistic details of children going to school.

    1. Cause it about walking not about going to school.

Incredibly unrealistic. The only way moms could get kids to school in the 50s was by enticing them by shopping for new book bags in August! What’s the point of walking to school if you didn’t have bags with metal edges to swing at boys/girls to tease them? Now, did I ever tell you about these four dorky kids who vied at being Posture pals?

    Ahhhhhh. Push the button, Bill.
