I’m not a Packers fan, but I am glad they won. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone posted something like that. I liked it very much! ;)
I posted it on facebook. I love it. I am not a Packers fan, but this bit had me pulling for them. Whoo!

I’ve seen this clip posted on about 10 different Facebook pages. And that’s not even including the ones owned by MST3K cast members.

Yes, I had to watch it last night in honor of their victory! I kept on mentioning it during the game, and my wife would give me strange looks.
They’ve overlooked my favorite Packers fan — little sister Terry.

Finally. After all these years, a reason to actually run around yelling “PACKERRRRRRRRRS!”
So damn funny! And guess what, you poor, poor non-cheeseheads…that’s exactly what it was like in the semi-rural Wisconsin area where I live!! As we walked outside to get in our car we could hear the maniacs screaming for blocks around. Not too mention large amounts of illegal fireworks and cars revving violently with horns blaring. I took some back roads to get home from our friends house to make sure we didn’t run into any delirious revelers.
GO PACK!
I wanted the Packers to win ONLY BECAUSE I’m a MST3K fan initially; then I heard the Packers are the ONLY team in the NFL that is fan-owned. Owned by the people of Green Bay , and so I then thought, the people of Green Bay ,and Wisconsin at large, deserved this. Go Wisconsin! Go Packers!
Same here – the only reason I rooted for the Packers was because of MST3K!
To my mom who said to me the other day, “you know, that show ended like 10 years ago” – Yeah, well, IT STILL HOLDS MEANING TODAY! HA HA HA!
Hilarious! I actually watched this episode after the game just to hear those jokes.

Apparently it got a mention on G4’s Attack of the Show in their “Around The Net” segment today as well. I haven’t been able to find a clip or anything about it yet, but I’d like to track it down.

I did NOT watch the Superbowl. I watched “Giant Spider Invasion” & “The Deadly Bees(z)”. The latter had Brain Guy turn the other two Observers into Wisconsin natives & be PACKERS!!!!!! fans. :-P
Right after the Packers won I remembered all the Packers references in “Giant Spider Invasion” and sure enough a quick check on youtube pulled up that clip. So I guess I can take credit (or blame) for being amongst the first to spread this via Facebook and Twitter. PACKERS!!! WOOOOOOO!!!! ;-)

I saw some of these clips on ATTACK OF THE SHOW on G4 a couple of days ago. It is about time It is about time that some one gave MST3K the recognition it deserves for giving the Packers the win.

I’m just watching The Giant Gila Monster. When our combination
singer/tow truck operator id going into the bedroom and is prevented
by his mom so his sister can surprise him he says
“Have you played football.”
She responds “Yes. For the Green Bay Packers.”

P.S. A great movie to watch if you’re preparing for an acting
audition so you can practice the famous Kellogg “Leg Up” technique.
