I had always wondered what happened to Otis Campbell!

Once again scariness has paid a visit.

I hope this one doesn’t have that same dopey blond kid in it so we don’t have to listen to any more cheap “I’m so high” drug jokes. I liked the Following Instructions Game short, but those kinds of jokes are so lazy, and not worthy of Mike, Bill, and Kevin’s talents.

At any rate, I do think that someone needs to check both of those kids’ houses for carbon monoxide. They both seem so “out of it”.

I’ll put in a word of support for that sentiment. Sometimes an obvious joke can work well if the timing and delivery are spot on, and even if not, it usually doesn’t harm the product much. Sometimes the riffers here do tend to drag a cheap joke out way too long, though. They clearly recognize that sometimes, and have the jokes wherein they attack each other for beating something to death, and that works. It’d be nice if they didn’t milk anything too easy for more than maybe two lines at most.

Sooo … Rifftrax … Can we expect more “shorts” collections on DVD anytime soon? Please say “yes”.
