With mixed results? Please explain.

The mixed results were that it contained a collection of both consonants and vowels. That’s all I can figure out from that statement as I liked the short.

I think Sampo was referring to the mixed-results from the live webcast of the short – not the short itself. Many people had technical problems streaming it and the whole process ending up wrecking aspects of the RiffTrax website for a couple of days. (It’s also the reason that they canceled the planned “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny” webcast and are making it a video-on-demand download instead.)

The solution continues to be simple for the Rifftrax people to solve. Rather that funnel everyone through their server which obviously isn’t up to the task, Have the chat window and video window spawn separate browser windows that link directly to the content.
I had no issues accessing the show once I just pasted in the direct link to the video hosting site into it’s own tab in Chrome.
From an aesthetics stance, the “side by side” video and chat windows clutters the screen to the point that nothing stands out. It’s 2010, the year we make contact… people are used to the idea that content might be split between different “planes.” Fix it!

“many people technical problems streaming it”=Many people couldn’t even visit the RiffTrax webpage for over two hours without getting a “service unavailable” message. :(

Eh, lately I haven’t been able to watch the video part of the short on Rifftrax (only the audio). I guess the problem might be on my own part, but maybe Rifftrax needs to find a new server.

@John – Right… without the redirection nonsense, everyone could have hit the website, and got the popups I’m suggesting.
