As far as I know, the NJPAC shows are not general admission. I had to actually pick seats, and a friend of mine is not sitting in the same seat for both shows.

It’d be awesome if they could come back to Minneapolis again this year.

Are they ever going to release another DVD? Apparently the live shows are where the money is, but at least throw your overseas fans a bone :-(

    I’m going to second #4.

I’d love to see them live, but they never tour near me. There seems to be five or six movies they’re riffing on these days that haven’t been released yet.

    Please?

I’ve basically given up on trying to get Cinematic Titanic to come to South Jersey. Every place I’ve email hasn’t even bothered replying with so much as a “Thank, we’ll look into it.” I just won’t bother with trying to get a show closer to me. It just won’t ever happen.

South Jersey? I didn’t realize New Jersey was so large that four shows in other parts of the state would be impossible to get to.

Sorry for sounding bitter, but number of CT shows ANYWHERE in Florida to date: 0. I think the closest show they’ve done to Tampa was in Atlanta, which is over 400 miles away.

Well, to defend Laura a bit, I live in South Jersey as well, and I wouldn’t want to drive up to places like Princeton or Morristown. Going to Philly is much easier (and ends up being closer), so that is what I’ve done. Although if I hear that they are doing that new movie Rattlers in either of the two Jersey shows, I might just suck it up and go up there.

OTOH, I think Laura needs to again realize that this website is truly international, so there will be plenty of people who aren’t even close to anywhere CT does shows. Therefore, they might not have the patience or empathy when they hear about people who live pretty close to CT shows yet still bitch about it basically not being in their backyard.

I live in Arkansas,so basically that means that CT would never come close to me at all,but I did drive to Dallas last year to see them because I knew that could be the only chance I could see them.Luckily,I had the money to go and the time off from work to do so and I’m glad I did.It was worth it.So,I’m sure if I can see them, anyone else can, especially if they don’t live that far from them.Maybe go with friends and save money that way. When there’s a will, there’s a way..And I remember Laura saying that she would never buy a CT dvd if they don’t come close to where she is,but I was wondering, does that imply to rock concerts as well? I mean, does she only buy cd’s of her favorite artists that only come to her hometown? If I only bought cd’s of my favorite artists that came here,I wouldn’t have any cd’s at all.I just don’t understand the logic is all. What does one have to do with the other? Just wondering..

@5 This is for ety3..What 5 or 6 movies are you referring to that haven’t been released yet? There’s WAR OF THE INSECTS,SAMSON AND THE SEVEN MIRACLES and then there’s RATTLERS that aren’t on dvd yet. @4 I’m pretty sure they’ll release WAR OF THE INSECTS on dvd either this month or next month.Usually if they’ve riffed a movie quite a bit and they’re doing a new one, then that first movie will be released next.

They did at least one show in Philadelphia, and they’re going to Princeton in April, so please don’t take this too personally Laura, but quit your whining. I have to drive almost an hour each way just to see the RiffTrax Live events, but you don’t hear me complaining.

Now, the $10 Rum & Coke I got at the Nikon (now Best Buy) Theater when I saw CT in Times Square, THAT I’ll complain about.

Is “RATTLERS” their current movie for most shows? The gripe I have with CT is that you don’t always know what film they’re riffing.

The MaCarter Theater in Princeton NJ is as centraly located as you could get. It’s a great theater in a nice part of town, free parking nearby. This would be the best choice if you live in NJ! I will be at this one (if I can get off work..lol)!

@12 Yes,RATTLERS is the current movie they’re riffing on now..WAR OF THE INSECTS is the movie they did after DANGER ON TIKI ISLAND.

They haven’t announced what movies they’re doing at NJPAC yet, have they? I’ve put off buying tickets so I could pick a show based on the movie (in case they’re doing Tiki Island – I’ve already seen it live) but time and tickets are running out.

  15. CT must be using a map from before Colorado’s admission to the Union.

@14..If you click on “New Jersey Performing Arts Center” and then click on “event info”,it’ll say they’ll be doing THE OOZING SKULL at 6:30 and RATTLERS at 9:30..

I flew 400 miles to Seattle to see CT last year because I know they will probably never come to Idaho. If you want to go enough you will make it happen. The odds that they are going to do a show in every town in the country are rather low.

I wonder if they’ll ever come back to Chicago now that Lake Shore Theater closed down. CT had their last 2 shows there.
