Cynthia Nixon Gets Hate Mail in DecemberCynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) will star in a benefit reading of Bill Corbett and Kira Obolensky’s play “Hate Mail” on Dec. 6 at Off-Broadway’s New World Stages in New York City. Proceeds from the reading will go to Opening Act, a nonprofit that provides free after-school theatre programs to New York City public high schools.

All the proceeds go straight to our programs – so that ticket is totally worth it! Our year-long programs are making a huge impact on the lives of kids who don’t get their fair share of access to the arts. $500 is roughly the equivalent of sponsoring one student for a year – so when you buy a ticket, you’re supporting 1/5 of some awesome kid. :)
PLUS there is a fantastic silent auction before the show. Many nifty items.
