Forgot to add that it’s a great-looking cover…

I mistakenly misidentified the cover art in my original post. What I have posted is the Geof Darrow version that is still currently available. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the correction, Erhardt. I know a Geof Darrow cover when I see one and that was definitely drawn by Geof Darrow.

Reminds me a bit of the late Seth Fisher’s style.

Wow! I completely forgot about this old book. I picked it up at the Comic Book Shop about ten… maybe twelve years ago. I remember it well because I was so psyched to see a comic written by Trace Beaulieu.
Maybe my expectations were too high as a consequence, because I was a bit underwhelmed. The art and theme kind of reminded me of R. Crumb’s work in that we had these people being carried about by these super-amazon-tall, huge chested women, (Crumb liked his female characters big & strong). Of course this is NOT to say that this was a sex book in any way, shape or form. It was comedic, but didn’t deliver the ha-ha as much as I was expecting or hoping for. … Sorry Trace.

I agree about the content: Sort of an interesting idea, but one that was only worth being explored in a single issue. That’s all he produced, so no complaints. Kinda’ like a story from an old scifi anthology, but without the misanthropy. Glad I own one, but haven’t read it in almost a decade.

I am glad I finally got off my duff and ordered this last year. I had an old address, but it finally made its way to him and he was great. Got all three cover versions (autographed) and a very funny note w/ a Crow T. Robot sketch. Well worth it for that stuff alone.
The comic itself is an odd duck of a one-off and shows little of Trace’s humor as displayed on MST3K. But it was entertaining and certainly not offensive (as far too many “independant comics” are).
