Due to a rights issue, Rhino has had to immediately discontinue the selling of episode 517- BEGINNING OF THE END on DVD and VHS. The Info Club is also immediately halting sales of the episode. Also in Rhino news: Our contact at Rhino tells us (as we suspected) the glitches that people have noticed on the disks containing episode 603- THE DEAD TALK BACK in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection: Volume 8 came from the original source master. We are told that Rhino did its best to clean the problems up. They tell us the only other alternative was to find another episode. which would have meant “another long journey into the dark night of rights clearance and a significant delay of the release,” our source says. “So we decided to go with it.” There are no plans to offer replacement discs.
