Trace & Len Interview

Radio station 93.9 “The River” in Northhampton, Mass., has a weekly Saturday morning show for kids called “Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child.”
This week the show included an interview with Trace Beaulieu and Len Peralta about their new book “Silly Rhymes for Belligerent Children.”

    great station!! they bounce all over the musical map. they’ll play louis armstrong “it’s a wonderful world” then play “psycho killer” by talking heads right after that!

    Uh yeah. There’s a “The River” in pretty much every market that Clear Channel owns stations in.

    They’ve basically turned radio into fast food. Same brands, same programming, etc

    We aren’t a Clear Channel station and are programmed entirely locally.

    It would be a thrill to be able to download the show and listen on the go.
    Which is what most of us do with these types of shows.

    I’ll have to wait until I am tied to my computer for this one.
