I always enjoy when a MST3K cast member writes one of these funny essays for magazines or other publications. They are short, to the point, and always entertaining.
Wonderful job Josh!

I agree with Gary! Although I would buy a book from any of the MST3K alumni

Another good article from the well of talent that is MST3k (and its offspring).

Nice job Josh! I especially agree with his point about Hollywood trying to re-do old TV shows into 90-minute feature films. That list is almost limitless.

My father, not a big MST3K fan (although he knows of the show, actually told me about this because he flies quite a bit. He enjoyed the article a lot, which made me happy because I need to get him more into the show.

From the article: “If you’re looking for a good movie, avoid titles that contain the words ‘robot’, ‘monster’, ‘brain’, or ‘blood’.”
It’s a fair point and mostly true, but I can think of a quite a few good movies with “blood” in their titles, e.g. Blood Simple, In Cold Blood, Throne of Blood (although that might not be the original title). “Robot”, “Monster”, and “Brain” are all a bit more…committal.

What a great article! I loved his comment equating the CGI Transformers battle scenes to shaking your face in a box of Legos. While the idea of doing so is rather painful, it was most certainly spot on.
