Characatures have always been one of my favorite forms of art…at least, when they’re created by an artist who “gets it”, and Len’s characatures kick MAJOR ass! I’ve been marveling at each and every new entry in this series. I think that this one’s even better than the Rifftrax card that preceded it. A more subtle and refined style on this one, yet he managed to capture and convey each individual member’s personality perfectly. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like you can practically hear them breathing. That’s something quite rare in characature art. (see…”Hershfeld”)
I’d love to have a big ‘ol framed print of this “family portrait” hanging over the sofa in my living room…

So he has Mary Jo kinda clueless looking and Frank downright evil, with the others neutral. Must be how he sees the characters?

I think this is great! But this questionis…..where can an actual card be obtained?

I like how X-Files-y this is. It’s weird how everybody but MJ has tiny eyes though.

Very nice. Take the time to go to Len’s web site and look at some of the other cards and other work he has done. There’s a lot of fun stuff there.

The first thing I thought was “Why is Mary Jo dressed like Dana Scully?” But then… why not? She had good dress sense.

Sure bluesy, wouldn’t you be uncomfortable if you had a tenticle on your shoulder? Frank, in a suit, seems excited however.

Wow, the Rifftrax card was very well done but this one is flat out awesome. Fantastic caricatures, the one for Trace is inspired.
