Someone there really likes their wrestling. Good for you, Minneapolis.

And the premier of MST3K on national cable television is easily a top 50 pop culture moment for all of the US.

Can we write to them and ask them to send us a copy?

Fourteen? I’ll give you the opening of the Mall of America and the filming of Mary Tyler Moore throwing her hat, but that’s it. And I’m being _generous_.

As a Minnesotan and someone who was there right from the beginning, I’d say MST3k definately belongs on this list. :)

Hmmmmmmmm, no one spells eclectic quite the same way as Minnesota does………the only thing that might possibly have topped a list like this one, is if The Guthrie elected to celebrate an Anniversary by staging a musical version of “Hamlet” at ‘The Mall Of America’, with Peter Graves in the lead, and Verne Gagne (the rather lumpy, bald, old-guy wrestler) as his pal “Horatio”, and Courtney Cox as the troubled “Ophelia” (featuring, of course, a musical score by Minneapolis’ “favorite son”, Prince)!!!!
And if the possibilities of THAT doesn’t give one pause, imagine if you will, this staged version of Hamlet, captured on film, then becoming the version riffed on by ‘The Brains’ back in season 10, episode nine {brain promptly explodes} !!!!!!

Actually the studio was in Eden Prairie.
I purposely pass by it every time I’m in EP.
The Trib putting it at #14? Good for them! I’d expect it to be in the 20’s or 30’s.

If these people really have a copy of K01… then I sure hope they aren’t like Jim Mallon who wants to keep his copies of K01-K03 to himself.
I might finally get to see if Beeper from the pilot is in this episode.
