Another Cinematic Titanic Show

Cinematic Titanic will do a show Saturday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. at the Edwards Auditorium on the University of Rhode Island’s Kingston Campus (about 30 miles south of Providence). We are told that the Edwards is a 925-seat theater with a high quality sound and video system. The show will be reserved seating. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, June 29 on campus and at ticketmaster.com.
Tickets will be $35 each; $15 with a valid University of Rhode Island ID.

Here’s a list of the upcoming Cinematic Titanic’s shows that have been announced:

• Friday, July 2: Two shows at the Michigan Theater, 603 East Liberty St., in Ann Arbor, Mich., “East Meets Watts” at 7:30 p.m. “The Oozing Skull” at 10 p.m. General admission. Get tickets here.
• Tuesday, Aug 3: One show (“War of the Insects”) at 8 p.m. at the Castro Theater, 429 Castro St., San Francisco as part of SFSketchfest. General admission. Tickets are $25. Buy tickets here.
• Friday, Sept. 24: One show (“East Meets Watts”?), 7:30 p.m. at Club Nokia, 800 West Olympic Blvd., in Los Angeles. Looks like assigned seating! Tickets are $25 and $36.50.
• Saturday, Sept. 25: Two shows, 7 and 9 p.m., at the Grove of Anaheim, 2200 E. Katella Ave. Looks like assigned seating. Get tickets here.
• Friday, Oct. 29: One show, 7:30 p.m. at the Wilbur Theater, 246 Tremont St., Boston. Looks like assigned seating. Tickets are $40.
• Saturday, Nov. 13 Family Arena, 2002 Arena Parkway, in St. Charles, Mo. More info when we have it.
• Saturday, Nov. 27 (that’s Thanksgiving weekend) two shows, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. at the Victoria Theater of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark.
• Also, the Titans will also be attending Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Sept. 3-6.

    tps – I, too, feel like I have been waiting in vain for them to play the Baltimore-Washington area.

    I do go to Dragon*Con, and it’s been great seeing them there, but for some reason they don’t do a live show there. They introduce one of their filmed riffings, and go back stage while it shows, and then come out after to answer questions. Why not just do a live show???

    Well crap. Us folks down here in the north Dallas area are gonna miss out this year. What’s up with that? There are plenty of great theaters, colleges, (Collin County Community College), to book and it would be a much better (safer) locale than downtown Dallas. But it is great to see terror of tiki island is out on DVD! Gotta grab that jewel! Saw it live last summer! It was a hoot and getting to meet the gang was a real treat. Hey Trace!! Signed any more boxers lately!? LOL
