The PAC in Newark is a great theater, in case the idea of Newark NJ scares you off. Easy to get to, good safe parking, and a great venue. (And I’m not a shill for the theater, just a booster.)

PAC is also to reach via train. Newark Penn station is on the NJ Transit, and Amtrak NEC lines. The theater is a short walk away, there is also a light rail station on-site that connects to Newark Penn. The Ironbound neighborhood is also nearby with lots of excellent Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants. It’s a very busy and lively area on the weekends…excellent nightlife, perfectly safe.

This is just about the only reason I’d want to go to Newark.

Two CT shows in NJ (the McCarter and NJPAC) in one year? I’m certainly impressed!

Has anyone had success registering on the Cinematic Titanic forums lately? I have tried several times and never get the authentication email and I did check my spam folder.

It is in Downtown Newark, aka nice and safe Newark, down the street from Prudential Center. I may check this out. The Downtown area is great, I have been to alot of the bars in the area for Devils games since they moved to Newark.
