WOOHOO!!!! I’ve been waiting for this one! I love the Harry Potter tracks; each one is hilarious. Their take on “Prisoner of Azkaban” stands up with the classic MST3K episodes.
It’s impressive how funny the Harry Potter ones are given how long they are. Especially, as pointed out directly above me, Prisoner of Azkaban
Weird. I figured they were done with this series. Why not first finish the LOTRings Trilogy with a riff on Return of the King? Maybe they’re waiting until the two-part Hobbit is due to come out. But I’m a fanboy and any new RT feature is good news. If this means they’re committed to riffing the whole HP series then good. Last years “Half-Blood Prince” was a gorgeous-looking film.
Fantastic news. I dig all the Potter movies themselves, but the Rifftrax work on all of them have been some of their strongest work. I especially loved the Chamber of Secrets riff, as it contained the one riff that I have laughed at the hardest in all my Rifftraxs (Rifftraxes?). Consider this one purchased (they are on quite a roll recently).
Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t this make the 100th Rifftrax? (Not counting Rifftrax Presents)
(reading the description on the Rifftrax site) Yep, it looks like these guys are well aware that the guy who plays Cullen in the Twilight films is involved in this film.

I’m excited to see them revisit a series we all though was going to be left out to pasture. This gives me hope that they’ll finish LotR, Indiana Jones, Oh and I really want the other two Jurassic Park Movies riffed PLEASE! Or even better the Mummy series.
Finish LOTR you guys! I need to get those ****ty films out of my system before moving on to Harry Potter.
Speedy – The guys at Rifftrax don’t count Hulk: Final Round or Nestor in their Rifftrax numbering, so it’s only #98 to them. They have promised something special for 100 though.
Have they done Equillibrium? PLEASE do equillibrium!! :grin:
Eqillibrium is definitely riff-worthy, but really I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for them to do a Rifftrax for it. Your best bet is that someone would do an iRiff for it, but if you’re like me then you really don’t pay any attention to iRiffs, and wouldn’t care about that anyway.

I agree w100% with this. He saved the school 3 times already and what does he get? His classmates being a bunch of douches because something happened that wasn’t his fault.
Hmm, there doesn’t seem to be a huge overlap between MSTies and fans of Harry Potter if this thread is anything to go by. I’m not necessarily a fan of Rowling’s work (though in fairness, I was never in her target audience to begin with), but I did watch the movies with the Rifftrax commentary and loved them.
And hey, where the hell is the Rifftrax for Return of the King, anyway? That’s the only unfinished trilogy thus far.
yeah, finish the LOTR series while you’re at it!
