The site has also reviewed other CT discs over the fast few days, including “Blood of the Vampires” and “Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks”. They’re good reviews, though one contains what I thought was a bit of a shot a Rifftrax that seemed out of place.

I noticed this the other day and just figured this is as good a place as any to mention it: If anyone bought EZTakes versions of CT movies you can now legally download digital and iPod versions of your movies at no extra cost in addition to the burnable files. I thought it might only be going forward but logged in and saw that the two CT releases I bought ages ago there allowed me to save iPod versions. Pretty good deal, really, especially as I’m usually too lazy to rip discs as mp4’s myself.

So psyched to get a link from mst3kinfo! Thanks a bunch. To follow up on the post, I reviewed the first two CT releases back in the summer of 2008, but some miscommunication led to us not getting the rest of the discs until recently. Thankfully, everything’s been sorted out and we should have timely reviews on all the new episodes going forward. Man, that sounded corporate. I should probably follow up with something funny. Um… “Booger booger butt fart”? I should probably leave this stuff to the professionals.

Are there going to be “new episodes”…..outside of the Live Shows..it seems like we haven’t seen anything “new” from CT in almost a year???

Graboidz, they released new DVDs in December and February.

jere7my…those weren’t “new” though. They were simply copies of the live shows which they’ve been performing for the past year or more. I enjoyed them yes, and I’m sure “Tiki Island Live” will be released at some point in the future as well…….but would like something new to look forward to as well.

Well, they’re new to everyone who hasn’t seen them live. I saw the live show of Blood of the Vampires before the (studio) DVD came out; that didn’t stop it from being a “new” DVD. Besides Danger on Tiki Island, they’ve got War of the Insects and Samson and the 7 Miracles in the pipeline.
If you’re saying you want them to release movies that they’ve never performed live, that seems unlikely. They’re using the live performances to refine and polish the scripts for the eventual DVD releases.
