Coffee and SantaIf you happen to find yourself in southeast Missouri next Monday, a coffee shop called The Mississippi Mud House, 811 Broadway, in Cape Girardeau, will apparently be showing the Cinematic Titanic riffing of “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians,” continuously all day. Admission is free.

This is going on in my town, and I had no idea.
I guess I will be stopping by to see what’s what.

This is a big hangout of the teens crowd here in town (first I am hearing about it as well.) My daughter goes there regularly so good on them for passing some riffing love to the next generation.
That somehow sounded dirtier than it should have.

Sounds like a really cool coffee shop.

That’s so weird, since I’ll be doing the same thing in my house this Saturday when my family congregates here. I think that, on top of adding the riff silhouette on the bottom of all of the framed photos in my place pretty much makes me a nerd. But that’s okay.
