I just bought the beanie earlier this week before I even noticed it was on sale. Should have been here today too
The “why don’t they look” has been there for a long while now. What do you mean, it’s new?

The last cartoon was added on 11/26 and actually the last “legacy” clip (Why don’t they look) was added 2/12. I hope they haven’t given up on this project so quickly.

With no new content since January, it seems safe to say that Jim has totally given up. It’s just an online store now.

No, actually I’m not kidding. It’s been a month since they posted anything new, but that doesn’t mean they won’t any more. Of course it doesn’t look too likely right now, especially since “fans” ripped them pretty hard for everything they did.
I’ve heard there is more “content” to come eventually on the site. I think the problem in the first place was hyping it. Shouldnt have made any big mention of it except for the fact that there would be a new site for official MST merch with a bit of extra content on the side. I think it was hurt by over expectations by the very vocal fans as much as it was because of the bot shorts being “not funny”. I dont think that reaction was Totally unfair however considering that WAS billed as the “Main Attraction”. :(
I guess what I mean is that since it wasnt put out there on the down low in the first place, if done so from now on could still be a cool site if given the chance. :)
So if you see this, Jim…Dont give up on it just yet, keep it low profile and try different stuff/experimenting. ;) We love the Bots dearly and dont wanna see them mangled all to hell but at the same time, they started out so. :!:
This site might as well not even exist as far as I care.
I am an mst3k fan, but I’m not real big on animation. Sure, foghorn leghorn and the old warner bros ones were cool, and I guess I liked the old Popeye ones too, but really, This site offfers no riffing or anything really worth looking at. I can see the host segments on my own dvds, or even you tube.
It really comes off pretty sad, like a broken down old geezer trying to live off of a name he once had, long, long ago.
When “new content” means “new riffed material by writers who are actually funny” I may pop in, but until then, I have better things to do.
I could never bring myself to go check out the site. I’m very happy here and this is where I’ll stay, thank you very much!!!!
