I wish they wouldn’t shake things up with the shorts. I need some consistency to keep me going in life.
Dave, obviously you’re not a ‘geek’, Veronica is host of a popular webcast (don’t recall current, I know she’d left one some time ago, haven’t followed her career recently.

I agree with Bat Masterson. Guest riffers should stick to doing feature-length Rifftrax.
I am a bit of a geek and Ive never heard of her. She was awful in the live show and should go back into obscurity where she belongs.
John, oh I’m familiar with who she is. She did the introductions for the Plan 9 From Outer Space live rifftrax. I just wish they didn’t have to use a knock-off Morgan Webb.
I’ll save the Veronica criticism for when I actually see the short (assuming I have criticisms then), but I’d just like to say I’d rather pay $2 for a longer short than have them split like this. Just more files to deal with and another visit to the credit card. It may help with downloading, but it’s only a hassle for me.
Ugh, I have bought every single short but will probably skip this one. Love Rifftrax, hate the guest riffer. The sample turns me off as she’s too “chipper” in her riffing. BC, MN, and KM have the sarcasm level nailed in their works. Neil Patrick Harris had it down as well. This woman sounds like a giddy chipmunk.
MSTJon – I couldn’t agree with you more. Two-parters suck and I’d rather pay the extra dollar to not have to wait for the second part to be released.
Mr. Masterson is corect. Consistency is important.
The Film Crew are journeymen shorts riffers, and these jobs should be left to the experts.
Perhaps a “Rifftrax Shorts Presents” is in order.
Well, at least she’s cute. But, yes they should do away with the guest riffers on the shorts for now on.
So did Paramount send Rifftrax a DVD so they could write this thing and have it out two days the movie streets? Or did they procure a copy via … nefarious methods?
Or are they just busting ass for the two days between the DVD release and the Rifftrax release?
Probably the latter.
If they ARE cobbling together the TF2 ROTF trax at the last minute, here’s a few lines they’d better incorporate:
(Near the end, as The Fallen is waving around his magic staff)
KEVIN: “So…’The Fallen’…fell…out of one of those Bionicle kits?”
MIKE: “Wait, wouldn’t that mean Megatron’s just a puppet-governor for the Lego empire?”
BILL: “Yeah, you’d think Hasbro wouldn’t allow that…”
(And, as that guy radios the ship that he’s under Devastator’s you-know-what)
BILL: “GHAAA! Just when you thought ‘Truck-Nutz’ couldn’t get any less dignified…”
KEVIN: “WOW, I suddenly appreciate the subtle nuance of the term ‘Rigid Grille Structure’.”
MIKE: “You know guys, there once was a man from mass…”
Yes, I know they’re not reading this, I just had to get that outta’ my system.
Haven’t seen anything about this on this site, Planet of Dinosaurs and Voodoo Man have been announced by Rifftrax for DVD… :smile:

I think they just got an advance copy of the DVD. They may have even seen ROTF in the movie theater and come up with some riffs. It would make sense since it was a sure bet that they would be making a Rifftrax for the Transformers sequel.
They probably have access to new release DVDs before the general public does. Remember the Rifftrax for The Dark Knight came out the exact same day as the DVD.

TF 2 was a given. Even with the riffage, the first one was a total chore to get through.
