Why are they dropping the Best Of moniker? Seems suspicious!

Maybe cause they’re new???

Nah, I’m just kidding. I think the “Best Of” was kind of a mistake, since most of them were released consecutively.
I would’ve preferred simple volume numbers, of consecutive releases, but whatever. DVDs are awesome; I think that’s something we cal all agree on.

Well, here we go again. Looks like my wife’s Christmas present will be the smile on my face watching Rifftrax and the new MST3k dvds! (…and yes, she’s glaring at me as I type…)

I learned a lot from the Cooking Terms short. Mmm, scalloped cauliflower.

Very nice. I’ll order both DVDs.

So there’s no more mention of Rifftrax Presents unless they feature MST alumni?

I just bought most of those shorts Tuesday because I was tired of waiting for DVD’s to be released. Then the NEXT DAY I find out I wasted $20 :(

YAY!!! New Rifftrax shorts DVDs!
This thrills me absolutely to no end. I adore both of the current volumes, and they can keep doing these forever. “Harm Hides At Home” and “Drugs Are Like That” absolutely match the best of the MST3K era stride for stride.

Add “One Got Fat” and I’m in 100% agreement.

I was trying to keep it to one per DVD, but I agree, “One Got Fat” also stands right up there.

@ #12
Just order them from Rifftrax. I gave up looking for *fringe/cult* titles in stores a long time ago.

Got my DVDs already!!!! They were fast with the shipping. I’m going to watch these slowly to make them last. Come on CT…your move!

Watched one dvd last night. Gut-bustingly hilarious, of course. Really enjoyed the pair of risque venereal disease shorts (one with Ward Bond!). I am curious about what appears to be a film to digital format transfer issue. Several of the shorts look like they are running at 22fps rather than 24 which makes the action jerky like a silent movie. The issue (which is not overly distracting or annoying) can be easily remedied by adjusting the speed slightly. Not a huge issue, just wondering if anyone else noticed.

I’m just starting to get into Rifftrax – I recently bought Shorts Volumes 1 & 2 along with Missile to the Moon – and I’m glad to see more of their stuff making it to DVD. I’m looking to download a track or two from more recent movies that they can’t release on DVD themselves, but overall when it comes to collecting RT, I’ll be going this route.
