    Hornberger.

I’m tempted to book a ticket down to Atlanta just for Nuts on the Road. There’s nobody not-awesome in that group. Brains and a Python? With Doc and Jackson to boot? My head’s spinning.

Crow vs Crow has got to be awesome. But if anyone’s going, could they please ask about the CT DVDs for us? Just to clarify their recent statements.

I was hoping that they could make the Trace/Bill panel a combination panel and buffet, and call it “A Feast for Crows.” After all, the goal at DragonCon is to be as nerdy as possible.

WOW! I’m not much for conventions, but Crow v Crow sounds amazing. Seems like a good bonus feature for a Shout Factory set, no?

Nice to see another CT/RT crossover! Gives one hope for the future.

    Ditto Cliff @ 11 comments.

Although I will always favor the original cast from season 1, I could never understand the sometimes contentious arguments when cast members changed!? The show was always unique and those involved seemed very passionate about their contributions. I hope that we all get to see an entire reunion event sometime soon.

speaking of scott adsit, i met him outside of the NYC UCB theater a few weeks ago & he was genuinely friendly & excited to talk to us. the secret is to tell him that you love “moral orel”, his vastly under-appreciated adult swim show. (and you should actually love it anyway, as it developed into adult swim’s most touching, human show since “home movies”)

and yes, “crow vs. crow” sounds incredible.

I remember a certain year at Dragon*con when Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy were pretty much the guests of honor and my bearded husband and I sat right next to Sampo on the front row at one of the panels Mike and Kevin were at in the Regency Five room, while Erhardt was over in the audience, stage left, with a video camera, and I was too shy to speak to either of you. At least that’s the way I remember it.

Man wouldn’t it be cool if this paved the way for a Crow & Crow Rifftrax? Bet something like that would rake in the cash hand over fist!

I think it’s strange that the only expositions that MST3K & the alumni frequent are these comicbook and sci-fi festivals.

Why don’t they appear at festivals for other cliques, like those legalize marijuana festivals (do they still have those?) or that yearly Sturgis bikers thing?
I bet they could gain a whole new following of paying consumers by going to these things.

Gatherings of people who love good humor are certainly not limited to comic book festivals.

  22. David says:

I was able to go to all three events (I skipped the signings). Very interesting and you can tell all involved have a great, natural sense of humor.

Crow vs. Crow was filmed for a future Shout Factory release. All of those who asked a question or two had to sign a release. Frank was in the audience and got up to answer a question at one time.

It was my first DragonCon and just the energy from the people around you was worth the price of admission (and hotel, and eating, and souvenirs, ect.)

All in all some great insight and it was fun watching a MST3K and Cinematic Titanic when I got home just days after seeing some of the cast live.
