RIP Mel Novak

Southern Calif.– Actor Mel Novak died April 9. He had a career that spanned several decades and was known for performing all his own stunts and fight scenes, leading to numerous injuries over the years. As a result, he experienced daily pain.

He was perhaps best known as Bruce Lee’s co-star on “Game of Death.” He took many villainous roles in martial arts films. MSTies know him from his role as Otis in the movie in episode 1004- FUTURE WAR. His real name was Milan Mrdjenovich.

The Mirror has the story. Thanks to Gordon for the heads up.

Did he co-star with Bruce Lee or with “Bruce Lee”? I ask that because “Game of Death” is the notorious movie that combines footage of him filmed before “Enter the Dragon” and footage filmed after his death with a Fake Shemp stand-in.
