Actor Armando Silvestre died June 3, reportedly of an ulcer. During his career he worked alongside actors like Clint Eastwood and Anthony Quinn. He was 98. MSTies will recall his role as Tony Roca in the movie in episode 1308- THE BATWOMAN. And he never did propose to poor Alice. Why buy the cow when you can get the rump roast for free, I guess.
But did Sam Butcher create the Tragic moments Figurines? He did have the name for it. But, alas he did not. The Mads did it.
My late wife absolutely loved Precious Moments figurines. When I showed her the Tragic Moments invention exchange, she was absolutely horrified. She and I went on a tour of Best Brains in 1993 and I was absolutely ecstatic that had “By the Fire’s Glow” on one of their display shelves. She, not so much. That was the one item that I considered buying when they had their auction in 1999, but it was way out of my budget at the time.
