Trivia from IMDb.
“The movie was originally shot with no computer effects for the monster, just an actor in a rubber suit. The final cut was deemed not scary enough, and all the computer effects for the creature were added. Actress Jaime Pressly hated the movie. Director Cameo: David Hillenbrand: one of the two detectives at the end.”
Goofs from IMDb.
“The tent is one color when the piñata grabs Lisa, and a different color when it pulls her inside. The creature grabs Lisa by her neck and shoulder, and starts dragging her head first. In the next shot, she is being dragged feet first, with her head down. During the escape attempt, Tina handcuffs the Molotov cocktail to the back of the monster’s head. In one shot, the bottle falls to the ground. In the next shot, it is back on the creature’s head.”
