WASHINGTON D.C. — Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) died at her home here Sept. 28. She was 90. Her career was one of many firsts: She was the first woman president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the first woman mayor of San Francisco, and one of two of the first women elected to the U.S. Senate from California.
MSTies will recall her being mentioned in a host segment in episode 1004- FUTURE WAR. Referencing the Lionel Ritchie ballad “Three Times a Lady,” Mike and the bots explained that Feinstein was “exactly one time a lady.”
Thanks to Tim and Gordon for the heads up.
No matter the political outlook when it came to serving her country she was many times an American lady. She understood the importance of seeing both sides and the value of compromise. RIP
