He deserved better from the American audience, I think. His music was out of the American mainstream at that time and, as mentioned above, those incessant and irritating TV commercials were a poor introduction here, but he had a great voice and his musical choices were pleasant and memorable. RIP.

No, no, I meant that Mike, and Kevin (in particular) seem to be the ones with the functional anger-issues trouble that frequently confuses Good-Natured Ribbing with Our Enemies Must Be Punished For Annoying Us.
