Cinematic Titanic LIVE will be returning to The Family Arena in St. Charles (a suburb of St. Louis) on Saturday, November 21st at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now at this link.

Like the previous St. Louis appearance, I’ll be somewhere in the audience for this. If you see me, stop by and say hello!

Also, don’t forget CT’s 3 night/3 movie return stand at the Lakeshore Theater in Chicago, Sept. 10-12. Get tickets here.

When is there going to be a show in Michigan? There’s a huge following in Flint and plenty of places to host such an event.

I’m torn by this constant touring. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to be able to see CT twice in a year and I’m sure they make tons more cash than if they just put out the DVDs, but I wish they would just take some time to figure out a DVD release schedule and stick with it. It doesn’t have to be every 2 weeks like the RT guys, but anything’s better than “Whenever we feel like getting around to it.”

Rock on brothers, rock on. Be there with bells on…if I can do something about the chafing problem that is.

    @jerkzilla

We should try and support the people who have given us countless hours of laughter when possible.

The touring money helps buy studio time, which means DVDs.

I’ll have to ask the higher-ups what I’m doing on the 21st, and if the answer’s “anything”, the wrath of me shall be vast.

In other words, I went there last year, and I wanna go again.

#2. Preach on Brother! A second St. Louis stop yet nothing in Joel’s hometown of Green Bay (okay technically Ashwabanon) WI????

I also agree it is time to get some of these titles on DVD for those of us who don’t live in the cities they are touring. It seems “East Meets Watts” and “Danger on Tiki Island” have been used on the tour for months now. They ought to be fleshed out by now.

Or if getting studio time is problem, why not record a live showing and release that. It would be like watching a sitcom “recorded in front of a live studio audience.” It would be worth a try.

Awesome. I was out of town for the last one, so my hope is that I will be there and drag my new wife along with me. Erhardt, how will we recognize you if we see you?

#8 – Oh, I completely understand. I fully support their tour (saw them both nights they were in town) and DVDs (I’ve bought everything). It just seems from interviews and the fact they’ve released 2 DVDs in 2009 that they are much more interested in touring and having the “live” experience than in making more DVDs. And I really want new DVDs. To watch. Now. Not after every MST3K fan in the U.S has had the chance to see them perform live in their home town. Now.

I’m curious and border line impatient about when “East Meets Watts” is going to be release, but Joel said in the Q&A in Dallas that East Meets Watts should be released this summer.Whenever that is…I wonder what the 3 new movies they’ll be doing in Chicago will be????

BigZilla must agree with jerkzilla. I have not doubt the live stuff is great and if I could ever get off of my job to go see a show (ATL would be my best bet) then I’d be there stat! However, I gots a cravin’ for the DVDs! Repeat viewings is where it’s at!

#10- a live DVD is actually an awesome idea, at the very least it should a special feature on one.

Goin’ to Chicaaaago, goin’ to Chicaaaago!

Three nights! I’ve also got to juggle all my friends around who want to go after I gushed over their December show. And these are non-MSTie friends who codenamed it “pirate shark” (Titanic, ocean, water, shark, I guess).

I went last year and it was excellent.

A suggestion to anyone wanting to go.

Don’t get floor seats. I am 6’3″ and weigh 170 lbs. The only way I would have been comfortable would be if two people of such slim stature as myself would have been on both sides of me. The seats on the 100 & 200 levels are of the movie theater style.

The floor chairs are the metal fold up kind with thin padding spaced as closely together as possible. I am getting 100 level this time.

Hopefully this time I won’t be hung over and tongue tied when I meet the Titans at the signing.

Every time I see Cinematic Titanic news I’m anticipating the announcement of a new DVD. Instead, it’s always about dates for live shows which I can’t attend because I don’t live in or near a big city.

I hope they release the definitive studio versions of these movies on DVD soon. Even if I lived in one of the cities in which they perform, I’d much rather spend the money on a DVD of the studio performance.

A’ight, tickets are being sent out to me right now… Fourth row, seats 1-5. Going with my brother, dad, and a couple of my crew. Two rows back exactly from where I was last time.

Although, what Andre pointed out about the floor seats: Yeah, yeah, it was rather tight. I’m skinny as a board, as are my guys, but I could see if you were bigger, it’d be really tight. They’re folding chairs packed side by side.
