Done and done.
How many plug nickels does MST3KInfo get when we buy something from their links?

Should be about 4% (so, about 56 cents per DVD).

Just pre-ordered too. And to think that I was bidding on the non-anamorphic DVD on Ebay when I found out about this release. I was never so glad to lose an auction in my life. Let someone else pay $67 for it. MST3K: TM on DVD and Indiana Jones 4 in one month. Can life get any better? I submit that it cannot!

there there, it will be ok, I still love you.
I do wish there was a reason to buy the new version, would love to see some extras , like the deleted scenes that are going around the net, outtakes, interviews etc. maybe a look at the premiere night when Mike showed up in a Limo red carpet style. I know I am a dreamer, but since I own the old dvd widescreen, no real reason to buy this one.

Anamorphic Widescreen is reason enough for me to spend the $14 even though I too already have the first DVD release.

@ ety3: “Really? That’s better than I expected.”
Well, that’s usually what I get from the amazon links through my website, so they should get the same.

Any chance of this being on Blu-Ray or HD DVD?

Pre-ordered so fast my fingers are bleeding.
Here’s hoping the throw in a deleted scene or two for those of us who already got the first DVD years ago.

Meanwhile, enjoy watching Siskel and Ebert’s review of MST3K The Movie back in 1996 here:

Type “Mystery Science Theater” in the search engine and voila!

Well I would guess that Blu-Ray or HD-DVD would not be likely. If you look at the details for this release, it says “dubbed”. This means it was not even re-mastered from the original film. So that pretty much rules out any High-Def versions.
Besides…MST3K….in HIGH DEF? The show PRIDED itself on it’s low-defnesses (I doubt that is even a word!)

Well hell, I’m preordering it too. I was going to wait and make sure it’s anamorphic. I can alway cancel if it isn’t.

Power Ranger, I read your entry, I promise. But still, you don’t have it onhand to make sure so as far as I’m concerned it ain’t 100% fact.

Actually, I was referring to this posting:
https://www.mst3kinfo.com/?p=313
and to the TVGuide.com report, both of which state that it’ll be anamorphic.
There’s no reason for it not to be anamorphic, but I suppose I can see why you might wait to be sure.
