Since both Mary Jo and Bridget can read and write I guess we can assume that they were in the “Bluebird” group in first grade. Were Mike and Kevin in the back of the class with the “Grackles” breaking their Big Chief pencils, tears of frustration running down their six year old cheeks? I hope not, but maybe that’s where their cinematic angst originated.

Someone commented on the Rifftrax comments section that the boy in this short seems similar to the boy in “Paper and I.”

There was a discussion whether it was the same actor.
