I’d pay a quarter for this.

Yeah, who the heck would want more funny MST-style riffing of bad movies? I can’t believe this is being promoted here.

Mike Nelson wrote of this, in Movie Megacheese, that it wasn’t the worst movie ever made.
No, it’s the worst thing, ever, of the whole of human endeavor.

Just picked up the DVD for £1.50 in preparation for this one. £1.49 too dear if you ask me!

Rifftrax bashing on an MST3K fan website is the height of uncoolness. While I’m aware such geekdom exists in this world…I’m appalled that my fellow MSTies could ever sink that low.
Who are these people, I wonder? I can only assume that you’re here because you at some point enjoyed MST3K. Now, you’re getting terrific content in a way that’s more prolific than ever from the same people responsible for MST3K…and you’re complaining?
Do me a favor. Watch the Poochie episode of The Simpsons. 1,000 times. You ARE the “worst episode ever” Comic Book Guy. I can’t imagine you want to be.

Having them riff this movie has been my dream since about 10 minutes after it came out.

I wish MST3K was still on air, versus Rifftrax, which is like a Margarita without the ‘rita’.

Thanks Droppo for writing that. I couldn’t have expressed it better myself. I just wish people wold heed it.

You assume too much, Droppo…which, of course, makes an ‘ass’ out of you, but not me. Could it be that some mst3k fans come to Satellite News looking for mst3k news and not rifftrax news? Just because you are a mst3k fan does NOT mean you are a rifftrax fan. Individuals like yourself who make every attempt to conform others to your way of thinking and your likes and dislikes are just control freaks. Oh, and check your pants, you seem to be carrying an ‘extra load’ in there.

So, it’s an incorrect assumption that someone looking for MST3K news might be interested in (and would presumably support) a project featuring the head writer and stars of MST3K that features said writers/performers riffing on movies?
Isn’t that kind of like assuming someone is going to a strip club to get a lap dance? I mean, I guess you could go for the drinks….

#11: FYI, Rifftrax (and Cinematic Titanic) news IS MST3K news, asshat!
Unless you are merely a stupid little troll, in which case you are simply to be ignored. We need some Dinosaur chomping in here – this kind of idiocy is hard to believe!

Of all the Batman movies to come out since Tim Burton’s initial offering, ‘B & R’ was the only one I had managed to avoid seeing….
Until now.
Now I’m finally going to see for myself what a fetid and festering turd Joel Schumacher foisted upon movie audiences. I’m glad I have Mike, Kevin and Bill along for the ride!

“Droppo is Righto”?
Tough to articulate my emotions about this name. Brilliant? Yes. Appreciated? Certainly. The fact that your post included the phrase “a**hat”?
Priceless.

Far as Rifftrax go, this is a 3 out 5 stars. Minus one start for compelling me to sit through B&R…again! Minus another star for the LOOOONNNGGGG pauses between riffs.
Favorite part: where Bill and Kevin try to convince Mike the fan-written script includes them leaving Mike alone to fend for himself, which is of course part of the script.
Very meta.
