This was always one of my favorite movie serials, and it’s pretty good. It will be interesting to see what Rifftrax will do with future chapters.
Fun fact: This is the ONLY production that can use the name “Captain Marvel” in the title. Since the birth of Marvel Comics, DC (the current owner of the character) can only call their books “SHAZAM!” And, of course, in recent years, DC has pretty much abandoned the Captain Marvel name, which leaves them with an in-joke on how their superhero can’t use that name in public.
