Now here’s an after school special every ‘tweenie can identify with. A white boy wearing a professionally ripped t-shirt with a mom most men would fall over themselves for enlisting a black girl as his co-conspirator in a plot to hook mom up. Yeah, right.

I thought that after school specials were supposed to teach some moral lesson. What is the lesson here? The kids are real jerks to all of the men they fool into showing up just so they can reject them from afar based only on their looks. Maybe the later specials were a bit different than the ones I saw in the 70s and early 80s.

The after school special also features Madeline Kahn.

I would like this better if I didn’t know that was a young Ben Affleck. I love nostalgia but not a fan of Affleck.

I think NOT being a fan of Ben Affleck makes this even MORE enjoyable? Maybe?
