Meanwhile, “the Oozing Skull” got favorable reviews at aintitcoolnews (thanks to Neil for the tip), Kevin Smith’s Quickstop Entertainment and DVDTalk.com.
But the biggest news, at least for you folks in the Twin Cities area, is the Cinematic Titanic launch party, Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. at the Acme Comedy Co., 708 N. 1st St. in Minneapolis. The whole cast will be present for this evening of stand-up comedy, peeks at “The Oozing Skull” and a toast to MST’s 20th anniversary.
For tickets, call 612-338-6393 or visit the Acme Web site.
Tuesday night? I would drive up from Iowa, but not on a Tuesday.

Wish I could be there in MN for the CT party. If you have the opportunity to do so, do NOT miss it! My wife and I were at both MST3K “Conventio-Cons” and meeting the MST3K cast and crew was a lot of fun and a memorable experience that made it well worth the trip to Minnesota from the east coast. Now where is the announcement about the 2nd episode of CT? We want more!

I hate to bring this up, but is Mike invited? If it’s a 20th anniversary he was the head writer.

This is a Cinematic Titanic party, not an official MST3K event. I’m sure if Mike wanted to fly from San Diego they wouldn’t turn him away.

there is something going on between Mike and Joel. My guess is that Mike clearly sided with Jim Mallon after the big split. Its too bad because I would love to see them riff together.
