MONTREAL, CANADA–Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur, who helped the team win five Stanley Cup titles in the 1970s, died April 22. He was 70, and had been battling lung cancer for several years.
The No. 1 pick in the 1971 NHL draft, Lafleur registered 518 goals and 728 assists in 14 seasons with Montreal.

I confess that the first thing I thought of when I heard the news was Brain Guy in his hockey hair saying “I’ve never felt more like a man! I feel like Guy Lafleur!”
