Kikuchi made his professional debut as a soundtrack composer in the 1961 film “Hachininme” and composed for numerous anime, live-action series and films, particularly for Toei and Shochiku. He may be best-known for composing the first theme song for the Kamen Rider franchise “Let’s Go!! Rider Kick.”
MSTies know his work as musical score composer for the movies in episodes 312 (K08)- GAMERA VS. GUIRON and 316 (K07)- GAMERA VS. ZIGRA.
The Anime News Network has the story.
Thanks to Gordon for the heads up.

Just to be clear, he did not compose the Gamera March (you know, really neat, filled with meat). But with the Kamen Rider, Dragon Ball, and Doroaemon franchises to his name, not to mention his music being used in “Kill Bill”, thats one hell of a career.
Sayonara, Kikuhi-sama, no arigato.
