He was perhaps best known for his hundreds of television episodes, including recurring roles on “Three’s Company” and “Beverly Hills 90210.”
MSTies will remember him from his role as super secret agent Adam Chance in the movie in episode 815- AGENT FOR H.A.R.M.
The Hollywood Reporter has the story.
Thanks to Paul and Tim for the heads up.
Damn. But 93 is a good long life. While I love his Agent Adam Chance character (in a B-movie way), my favorite of his was his recurring role on the short-lived TV show “Longstreet.”
RIP and condolences to his wife of 67 years, his children and grandchildren, and his friends. Now, off to the judo range with you!!

A great performer and writer to be sure, but making a marriage work for sixty seven years is a truly praiseworthy thing. RIP

IIRC he was also the cranky guy in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Neutral Zone.

Now that was a nice write-up for an actor with a decently varied career. Apart from his role as the cardigan-wearing Adam Chance, I remember him best in the Twilight Zone episode “The Fear” – in which he was menaced by a vicious balloon. RIP, sir and a 21-spore-gun salute to you.

Hopefully the guy handling the tombstone won’t misspell his surname as Richmond.

RIP seemed like a decent guy but I’ll always cringe when he says “angel face”

TBH I didn’t know he was still alive.
RIP.

I was like “Martin Landau NoooOOOOooo!” But he’s already gone. Then I remembered that Friday the 13th movie. Forgot all about his MST3K moment.

His interview on the Shout DVD of AfHARM is one of those delightful insider looks at the industry. And the exchange “Are you coming or do I swim alone?” followed by Crow’s “YES and YES!” never fails to slay me. Perhaps the dirtiest riff of the original run.

Longstreet, Bruce Lee was in that show too (and started James Franciscus from 3 movies shown on the show, plus one Rifftrax movie)

A long, terrific career. And he lived to 93. A well lived life. RIP sir.

Just saw that Twilight Zone episode and recognized him.

Yes, today I will assume that the icky unctuousness of Adam Chance was the fault of the writers and director, not the actor.

I saw Peter Mark Richman at the NJ Twilight Zone Convention (2005 or 06?)…They were showing his episode “The Fear” when he walked in and we started a round of applause for him, which he humbly acknowledged; The program had announced that one of George Clayton Johnson’s short stories would be Performed by some of the actors. Apparently, this wasn’t cleared with the actors…while I was in the men’s room, one of the convention managers came in with Mr. Richman, who made it clear that they hadn’t paid him to do this and he wouldn’t unless he was properly compensated. Good for Him! Epilogue: George Clayton Johnson wound up reading his own story, which was just fine. RIP to them both…
