That’s a nice write-up. I can appreciate that although she got her start in Corman films, she wasn’t “fond” of the films themselves (good call in regard to Viking Women, IMO). It surprised me to hear she was Lorenzo Lamas’s mother-in-law for a time, that she won an Emmy, and that she was so athletic. Why those things surprised me, I don’t know; maybe I just can’t picture Desir on the tennis court.

It’s a little known historical fact that Viking women were always pulling their husband’s vingvangers out of the fire. Abby was a good choice for that role in my opinion. If you are Viking man, and aren’t we all, then doff your horned helmet and prepare to light Abby’s funeral ship. RIP

The surprise to me is that as a) a child of her times in the public eye b) a huge fan of actresses who look like Abby Dalton c) someone who will probably drive his car into a bridge abutment if imdb ever goes belly-up, I have absolutely NO recollection of Abby Dalton in anything whatsoever, other than recognizing that she was credited in Viking Women. I have no explanation for that, because in every publicity photo I see of her on Google, she not only looks great but also looks like all her lights are on and she’s ready to start shooting on location tomorrow at seven. Abby, I’m sorry I missed out.

I mainly remember her being on game shows. I think she did Hollywood Squares a lot.
