  1. The Professor says:

    Two things:
    1. The use of “u” instead of “you” in this article is disgusting.
    2. I’m pretty darn sure Trace didn’t invent the Crow puppet. The character, yes, the actual puppet, no. (Cheese, maybe.)
    Otherwise, good inverview.

  2. Cronkite Moonshot says:

Joel built the original KTMA puppet of Crow, but I’m fairly certain I have heard other places as well that Trace did a lot of customization on it as they went, and pretty much built the new Crow puppet as he appeared in the cable series. It makes sense as he was the puppeteer and would be the person who knew best what he needed the puppet to do (and he is a handy guy who could easily do such things).

I didn’t notice any “u” instead of “you” so they must have changed it. If that is how it originally was I highly agree with you and would have instantly stopped reading the article if I had seen it. I can’t stand that kind of crap.

Anyway I was glad to here that the shorts are one of Bill’s favorite things to do. They are my favorite as well, and I hope the keep doing them forever.

  3. I am thoroughly disgusted by the use of “here” instead of “hear” towards the end of the previous post. It is precisely this sort of thing that accounts for the fall of civilization as we know it. I stopped reading immediately after coming upon there grammatical stupidity.

They’re ought to be a law against such abuse of the English language! Their really should.

I would just like to add a complaint about comment threads that have too many complaints in them, as they get very tedious for the average reader.

As long as we’re complaining, where is my latte?!

Anyways, I quite liked the article. Bill, being “always late” on things, seems the most average of the whole lot (even though they’re all are, he just seems the most) and comes off really genuine and goofy.

Bill will probably always be my favorite of the Rifftrax crew, because he seems like a friendly, normal guy.

Those are the ones you never suspect… “He was such a nice guy… always kept to himself, kept his yard trim and lawn mowed, waved when you walk by….He came from such a nice family… I never thought HE would do such a thing…

…come to think of it, he never seemed to have many friends, though, and the cats always avoided his basement window…”

I prefer Kevin. Loud and obnoxious, therefore safe.

  13. SIRHAMHAT says:

I love all the “Brains”, as it were… but, Bill has become one of my favorite riffers since Rifftrax started up. He was good in during the MST3k days, but he has really flourished with Rifftrax. And, like you guys have mentioned, I believe it is his “regular guy” approach to riffing that is so likable. It was good to see he too has a soft spot for the old cheese, because I definitely prefer old cheese for sure… despite the fact that old cheese can back you up for weeks. (Place Metamucil Ad here)

My only complaint is I have no complaint… sad really…
