Right now the only obit is in Italian (google does a pretty good job translating).

RIP Giancarlo Ferrando ROME — Giancarlo Ferrando, cinematographer and director of photography for more than 120 films and TV series, died here on Aug. 13. He was 80.

I suspect that Signor Ferrando would not want to be remembered only for WARRIOR OF THE LOST WORLD and DEVIL FISH, so let’s make some assumptions. At the age of 80 he was probably “Nonno” to several grandchildren who probably loved him and will miss him dearly. As a veteran in his field he likely commanded respect and admiration. RIP
