Glad to read an interview that doesn’t include the exact same questions as all the other interviews I’ve read with these guys. “How did you get involved in MST? Will you do a reunion? Is it hard watching all those movies?”. Now it’s “How did you get involved in Rifftrax? When did you decide to do a reunion? Is it hard watching all those movies?”.
Seriously though: I’m buying those 3-riffer DVDs when they hit, but keeripes—would it kill legend to bring down the price on the colorized ones with Mike commentary? I would own both versions if they would.

Not all of those remastered/colorized DVDs were actually released directly by Legend. Some were released through other companies and are out of their hands.
Also remember that at least some of the earlier DVDs have a *lot* more on them than these Rifftrax ones. They all have *both* color and b&w versions and “Plan 9”, for instance, has extra comedy from Mike, Ed Wood commercials and home movies and a text commentary track by *ahem* me. I certainly think it’s worth more than the Rifftrax DVD that just has the movie and the Rifftrax.
