The Aztec Mummy, The Girl In Lovers Lane, Zombie Nightmare and Racket Girls, four limited-edition mini-posters, along with a wealth of new bonus content, including new interviews with the stars from “Zombie Nightmare” Frank Dietz and Jon Mikl Thor in Zombie Nightmare = MST3K Dream featurette, Glimpses Of KTMA: MST3K Scrapbook Scraps I (original wrap-around segments from the KTMA season), Behind The Scenes: MST3K Scrapbook Scraps II, Kevin Murphy And Trace Beaulieu In A Sneak Peak From the upcoming Hamlet A.D.D., and promos. Join Joel, Mike, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot as they supply their own playful brand of commentaries on some of cinema’s most misunderstood “masterpieces” in Shout! Factory’s Mystery Science Theater 3000: Volume XV. This collectible 4-DVD box set is priced to own at $59.99.

MST3K: THE ROBOT VS. THE AZTEC MUMMY
The battle between machine and the undead comes to a chilling conclusion when an insane scientist invents a robot for the sole purpose of stealing an ancient artifact guarded for eternity by an Aztec mummy!
Only the second show produced after MST3K’s original year on KTMA, this remarkable episode features J. Elvis Weinstein as a virtually unrecognizable Tom Servo, plus the first part of the classic short Commando Cody & The Radar Men From The Moon.

MST3K: THE GIRL IN LOVERS LANE
After his spoiled protégé’s frequent missteps leave him with the responsibility of making things right with the law, local pimps and hoodlums, Bix Dugan’s life as a drifter may finally be coming to an end. And what a shocking ending it is!
Join hosts Joel Hodgson, Servo and Crow as they send up the movie that divided the MSTie nation. Love it or hate The Girl In Lovers’ Lane, this memorable episode’s song—“What A Pleasant Journey”—is guaranteed to have you in stitches!

MST3K: ZOMBIE NIGHTMARE
When a young baseball player is struck and killed by a car full of rambunctious teens, his grieving mother convinces a mysterious voodoo priestess to resurrect her son, allowing his zombied corpse the vengeance necessary to finally rest in peace.
The Satellite of Love crew—Mike, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot—takes on this 1986 zombie classic starring Adam West and Tia Carrere in her very first feature film role!

MST3K: RACKET GIRLS
When lowlife wrestling manager-turned-gangster Umberto Scalli takes $35,000 from the wrong crime boss, he’s forced to run for his life. Real-life female wrestlers Peaches Page, world champion Clara Mortensen and Mexican champion Rita Martinez—as you’ve never seen them before—star in this sinister tale of deceit, drugs, prostitution and smack downs!
In this hysterical episode from MST3K’s sixth season, Mike Nelson, Crow and Tom Servo challenge the “gorgeous gals of the ring” for the comedy championship of the galaxy! But what’s funnier? The riffs onboard the Satellite of Love—or the Racket Girls themselves? Also includes the popular short Are You Ready For Marriage?

    Hmm, what’s this?
“Join hosts Joel Hodgson, Servo and Crow as they send up the movie that divided the MSTie nation. Love it or hate The Girl In Lovers’ Lane”.
What division?!? There was a schism among the faithful? Does it persist to this day?

  8. Ronster says:

Best of all no Sci-Fi era episodes? There are some who feel the show peaked in the Sci-Fi era. I would be one. I never start these silly Comedy Central vs. Sci-Fi or Joel vs. Mike strands; I just respond to the silly people who do. Yes I preferred Mike but also loved Joel. I also prefer Cinematic Titanic over Rifftrax. Go figure. They’re all great!

I’m just happy Shout! took over from Rhino. The added features are super and they seem to be coming out more frequently. But I could just be older now and time passes faster as my average density increases in the gut region.

Just put scene selections in, okay?

So is there a chance we’ll get a “new” Jon Mikl Thor tune included in the set?

I look forward to each new volume, but can really do without the mini posters! Also, adding a scene selection would be nice! As far as the sci-fi eps, there are some that are really good to classic, but then, there are some, like “Quest of the Delta Knights” and “Diabolik” that could’ve been better. It seemed near the end, that most of the movies weren’t that bad.

  13. Thoughts:

I love how people still refer to the season one serial as “Commando Cody and the Radar Men from the Moon” even thought the title is clearly just “Radar Men from the Moon”.

I certainly recognize Tom Servo in Episode #102.

Another thing I love: “priced to own at $59.99.” Haven’t heard that kind of jargon in years.

Okay, *did* Girl in Lover’s Lane divide the fandom? I must have missed something.

I rarely need the scene selection, so I don’t care if they have them or nor, just so long as the chapter stops are there so I can advance if needed. What I’m glad about is how they are using the “MST3K ball” bumpers at commercial breaks rather than just fading out then back in like previous releases.

  14. One more thing.

They need to make the boxes themselves a bit stronger. While I appreciate the slimline cases instead of the fold-out carboard packs, the boxes are too flimsy and bend, fold and spindle too easily.

  15. The Bolem says:

Maybe someone at Shout! skimmed this site’s episode guide and decided the comments for “The Girl In Lover’s Lane” seemed more polarized than for other eps, with some loving it and others extremely ‘meh’ about it, claiming it was a least favorite? Or maybe I’m thinking of posts relating to the annnouncement of Vol. XV. Either way, I think they were just trying to add to the “cute” tone of sensationalism for the release, making something out of nothing.

Woo Hoo! Just got my copy pre-ordered over at Amazon.com, (at a nice price too; just $40). I can hardly wait because it’s been feeling like a bit of a drought between MST3K and CT.

I’m psyched their releasing “Zombie Nightmare,” that was the first Turkey Day episode I saw. Haven’t seen it in years.

My policy this outing will be to rent them from Netflix before buying. If they can’t manage scene selections, I can live without owning them.

    I’m really dorky and drooling buckets over the extras, particularly on Hamlet ADD. I’ll just crawl back into my hole now. >>;
