Update: Portland CT Publicity

Update: I just heard about this, but there’s still time: The CT folks will be making a public appearance at Videorama, 2310 N. Lombard, from 1-2:30 p.m.

Portland Monthly has a piece pegged to this weekend’s Cinematic Titanic shows.

Update: Oregon Live also has a preview.

Also: Here’s a teaser video for this leg of the tour.

Oh, and I’ve been meaning to mention: If you haven’t been to the Cinematic Titanic Web site lately, they recently unveiled a gorgeous redesign.

To all the very talented members of Cinematic Titanic: Please, please, PLEASE come to Nashville TN! (Okay, we would love for you to perform in Clarksville, but something tells me that’s not going to happen, ever–which I hasten to add is perfectly understandable!)

    Respectfully Yours,

    Professor Gunther

The new website looks GREAT! I love not being assaulted by the 80’s neon colors when it opens.

I saw the mention of Baltimore’s “Alien Factor”!! What better place to premiere the live show version than right here in Charm City?

June 5th can’t come fast enough for me,even after watching this clip!! This makes up for those times I missed the conventions back then because I lived in Arkansas, but now, this is like a dream come true! I can’t wait!!

  6. Another great, entertaining promo from the CT crew. Why can’t they put these on the DVDs?

Oh, and they should come to Rochester, NY. The Dryden Theater at the George Eastman House often presents special events like this. Mike Nelson presented “Carnival of Souls” there years before he did the DVD commentary.

If “Raider of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation” can sell out the Dryden, CT surely can.

In the reviews section of the CT website, they fail to include the numerous raves from Brian Orndorf (DVDTalk.com) and Bill Gibron (Pop Matters) – two critics who’ve praised the CT releases over and over.

    Strange.

  14. I bet at least some of those seats would say “Who farted?”, but I guess that’s beside the point.

Joel really is groundbreaking to release something like MST3K, but without jokes.
